I have been in the telecommunications industry since 1997, helping my dad with his two-way communications business; Communications Center. I gained skills and experience by installing communications/GPS tracking devices for local police/sheriff departments, schools, and commercial & industrial companies. In 1999, I volunteered to help build our first 300 ft communication tower. After that experience, I contracted my services out to other telecommunication companies & government agencies in Texas, including the US Border Patrol; installing antenna equipment, installing digital two-way repeater equipment & maintaining/surveying towers. Seeing the growing need for high speed internet in rural Texas, I decided to help start a WISP (Wireless Internet Service Provider) company called CG Communications, Inc. in 2004. Now we have a privately owned WiFi network covering more than 1000 square miles in central Texas.We at CG Communications continue to provide a fast and reliable wireless broadband to customers who can not receive cable or DSL in their area and did not want the "unreliable & expensive" satellite broadband alternative.
