Direct analytical responsibility for conducting credit and financial analysis for a portfolio of life and health insurance organizations, including reviewing, researching and managing potentially sensitive issuer information and documentation; perform cash flow analysis and risk-based capital credit modeling to provide analytical reasoning in team discussions, and present the analyses in rating committees which determine all final credit rating actions to be taken. Effectively communicate rating outcomes and all relevant rationale to issuers’ top-level executive teams, key client stakeholders, and industry investment analysts. Engage in process improvement special projects as appropriate, and provide valuable analytical insight to the broader market through engagement in forums such as insurance industry conferences and written publications.
