Chris' current priority revolves around implementation of the College's policy on building gender-inclusive social life. In addition his role encompasses several large administrative projects, from approving funding to planning large campus-wide events such as Freshman Family Weekend, Junior Family Weekend, and Wintersession.

As Dean, Chris supervised academic progress and personal welfare of 120 Dudley House undergraduates, including 65 international students. He advised students on academic, personal, and career matters.

Chris' role at OSAPR focuses on primary prevention and he works extensively with fraternities, Final Clubs and athletic teams. He also works closely with peer counseling groups and organizes Harvard Men Against Rape. Chris first started volunteering with OSAPR as a graduate facilitator in 2005. He then went on to receive Victim Advocacy training at Rape Victim Advocates in Chicago, Illinois. He presented extensively to college audiences in Chicago including peer education groups, fraternities and community groups. In addition to his anti-violence and prevention work, since returning to Boston in 2009 he has taught college students extensively both at Harvard University and also at Northeastern University. Most recently, he has started working with students as part of the residence-life program at Harvard University and is currently developing an evidence-based curriculum for educational intervention with men who have been accused of sexual misconduct.

Hist 1271: Ancient Rome is an introductory course which surveys the Roman world from the 10th century BCE until the death of Charlemagne, with an especial focus on the Republic and Empire.
