To assist in the recovery of former tenant arrears arising from unpaid rent, court costs, rechargeable repairs and other charges to ultimately clear their debt. Using the Experian Credit reference system to locate former tenants who have not left a forwarding address. Once contact has been established with the former tenants through telephone and/or letter, negotiations are made to set up suitable and affordable debt repayment agreements. Ideally this would be through direct/credit card payments, however, direct debit payments, easy pay card, cheque, standing orders and BACS payments are also acceptable. Signposting the former tenant to other advice organisations such as CAB, Step Change, Benefits Agency etc.
