I have nearly two decades of professional experience supporting environmental planning and compliance for oil and gas projects throughout the Rocky Mountains. I have extensive experience at every level of surface compliance for the industry, from my start as a field scientist to managing an interdisciplinary team of around 50 individuals. I have been a consultant and a company man, and have conducted investigations for environmental and safety incidents, and contributed to and managed projects representing:• Project permitting and planning.• Biological clearance surveys and reporting.• NEPA Compliance. • Water quality baseline condition characterization and monitoring.• Stormwater and SPCC.• Spill response, remediation, and facility decommissioning.• Waste characterization and management.• Reclamation planning and implementation.• Vegetation monitoring and maintenance.• Compliance program/system development and auditing.• Database design and development.• Spatial data management and analysis (GIS).Currently, I am the Senior Managing Partner of Confluence Compliance Companies, LLC, a firm based in Colorado providing environmental compliance services to clients throughout the Rocky Mountains and specializing in environmental incident response and investigation, remediation and waste management, reclamation planning and maintenance, and bulk data and spatial information management.
