I studied biology, chemistry, biochemistry, and psychology at Rutgers University - Camden.I served in the U.S. Navy from July 2013 to July 2019 and was stationed on board USS Tucson (SSN 770) in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii as a Machinist Mate (Second Class). While attached to Tucson I assisted in maintaining its ability to go to sea and perform missions vital to National Security by means of ensuring the readiness of its SUBSAFE Weapons Delivery Systems. I also deployed with the warship numerous times during the several years I was attached and was a crucial part of the overall operation of the submarine while at sea. Prior to enlisting in the U.S. Navy I worked at Murphy's Fresh Markets (formerly known as Murphy's Marketplace) as the Produce Department Manager in several of the company's stores. I meticulously helped provide consumers with the highest quality of fresh and prepared products and aided in the training of dozens of part time employees to uphold the high standard implemented by the company.
