CurrentDr. Reuben Shaw's laboratory in the Molecular and Cell Biology LaboratoryPrimary Project: "Exploring the functional landscape of lipid metabolism in non-small cell lung cancer"I am currently working with patient samples and mouse models to examine the extent of lipid metabolic heterogeneity across non-small cell lung cancers and ascertain to what extent it is attributable to specific genetic driver alterations and/or cell of origin. Further, I am conducting CRISPR/Cas9-based screens in mouse models of lung cancer to uncover novel therapeutic targets involved in various lipid metabolic processes. Finally, I am developing syngeneic lung cancer models in which lipid metabolism can be genetically modulated in an inducible fashion to examine the impact of cancer cell lipid metabolism on functional state of T cells that are specific to synthetic neoantigens.Secondary Project: "Establishing the LKB1 and AMPK-related kinase interactome in lung adenocarcinoma"
