Level IIB Fieldwork for Long term Acute setting. Provided skilled Occupational Therapy services to individuals with various respiratory complexities. Cultivated extensive knowledge in Respiratory care, Respiratory weaning, and interventions surrounding such complexities. Utilized therapeutic use of self and demonstrated a high level of initiative and creativity while tackling difficult tasks. Helped determine realistic treatment goals and adjusted steps based on patient progress.

Level IIA fieldwork for Acute inpatient rehab setting, providing skilled Occupational Therapy intervention as part of interdisciplinary team. Treatment interventions aimed to support individual objectives in daily living, clinical, educational, and vocational areas to facilitate recovery and increase quality of life all while providing strong sense of empathy and therapeutic use of self. Reviewed journals and various recourse actions to collect information on treatment and therapies for Orthopedic and neurological diagnosis.Educated patients and families on conditions, treatments and home exercises through family training.

Worked with targeted individuals to eliminate disruptive and negative behaviors and replace them with positive behaviors and actions. Worked in School Settings, Adult Programs, and Community transition settings. Developed intervention plans based on established guidelines and individual needs.

Led a team of 4-16 Youth Care Workers to look care for pods of 8-32 unaccompanied migrantchildren. Delegated tasks and coordinated YCW and UC schedules, worked with administrative staff to coordinate UC movements at all times (Line of sight). Tasks/schedules include: Meals, legal counseling, medical visits, mental health referrals, sibling visits, family phone calls, clothing needs, recreation time, entertainment activities, showers, hallway monitors, escorts etc.

Level I fieldwork for Acute inpatient setting. Worked under supervision of activity director of hospital providing skilled Occupational Therapy interventions and group activities to patients suffering from Psychiatric illness. Provided strong sense of empathy and therapeutic use of self while conducting initial patient assessments, activity therapy assessments, and activity group progress notes of patients. Group interventions were aimed at reducing symptoms of psychiatric illness in patients while encouraging healthy self-expression, social interaction, and improving quality of life.
