I believe in working hard, giving that extra effort so that the job not only gets done, but gets done well. It's easy to just squeak by in life, but I am not the type of person who merely wants to survive, I want to thrive. In order to thrive, one must be willing to put themselves in a uncomfortable position in order to one day end in a successful position. When I was young, I needed more discipline and I wanted to be a leader, so I joined the United States Army and served as an Infantryman. In my time in the Army, I was a soldier, but I become a leader among my peers and eventually my own team while serving in Iraq.After my Active Military time was over I went on to study at Lawrence University, a Liberal Arts School in Appleton Wisconsin, where I studied English Literature, Creative Writing and a wide array of subjects to satisfy the Liberal Arts model of Lawrence University. While at Lawrence I also played football for three years and joined Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. I also volunteered as the Assistant Wrestling Coach for Appleton East High School my Junior and Senior years.Since Leaving Lawrnece Universtiy, I have found myself at Quad Graphics' Finishing Department where I have been promoted twice within my first two years, to be a Finishing Operator. At Quad Graphics I am able to use the tools I have learned throughout my life to positively effect production.I am currently at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee pursuing a degree in Communication.I also work hard on outside of work. I am currently working towards running a 10k and my second Tough Mudder in 2016.
