Locks Instructor Lvl Iii
CurrentMy responsibilities at the technical security training center are to familiarize, prepare, and practice curriculum material with my group's co instructor and team lead so that I may reliably instruct multiple TSS lessons. Covering at least 15 days of education, our lessons are delivered to a wide variety of technical and non technical backgrounds and personnel including, Regional Security Officers (RSO), Security Engineer Officers (SEO), Security Technician Specialist (STS), Seabees, and more. After successfully graduating from my Instructor qualification training, I consistently apply adult learning methodologies to implement the skills, knowledge, and techniques I’ve retained in all of my teachings. Ifacilitate hands-on training instructions by informing, demonstrating, and initiating real life scenarios ultimately allowing me to evaluate the student’s comprehension through extensive hands-on practical exercises. I prepare the classrooms and labs prior to instructing by first examining and confirming stock on all inventory. I then test, troubleshoot, and replace materials and hardware as needed. Finally, I configure the computer, optimize the audio, and dial in the document camera. At the end of every class I submit training records, test results, and all other closeout procedures through my team lead and unit chief for final approval. When I'm not teaching or cross training in other TSS courses, I collaborate with my co instructor and team lead by managing time, assisting students with the material, fixing any hardware issues as they arise, and if applicable, I illustrate my own personal experiences from thefield using a creative approach to answer questions in a way that can be related to and easily understood guaranteeing the highest quality training center experience,
