Christopher has 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry specializing in Program Management, Professional Services, Engineering, Estimating, Consulting and Sales. He has demonstrated the flexibility to utilize a wide range of telecom disciplines to support the design needs of these customers which include Telephony, Terrestrial and Subsea Fiber, Networking, Satellite, Microwave, Paging, CCTV, Tower Erection, Radio Over IP, UHF Conventional and Trunked, Marine VHF, and Aviation VHF. His motivation and hard work ethic have granted him the opportunity to directly experience all levels of responsibility for the successful completion of projects from; program management, to capital expense finance, to pre-sales, to design, to installation, to commissioning, and lastly operations & maintenance (O&M) support and has a deep understanding of the complex inter-departmental responsibilities necessary for the completion of any project from start to finish.In Chris’s current Program Management role, he is responsible for the strategic vision, management, and implementation of GCI's growth, business and capital financial goals for the Wholesale, Commercial, and Enterprise business markets throughout the state of Alaska. He works closely within and without GCI to quantify, qualify and implement project opportunities that balance the needs and best interest of both the customer and GCI respectfully. His many decades of experience in the field, and within numerous supporting roles, provide a unique perspective and leadership qualities that contribute extensively toward overseeing complex solutions for demanding customer requirements in one of the most remote and challenging locations in the world.
