Originally I started as a barista. Through my own determination and constant drive to learn, I joined the sales floor team in about three months. This included upselling and cross selling products, creating a joyful experience for the customer, and teaching customers about new products. I consistently maintained or excelled Nespresso sales goals leading me to take on the Senior Boutique Specialist role. This position still required the same goals as a regular specialist, but added new tasks like dealing with escalated customers, managing/ organizing the store, and being the opening/closing manager.
