Christopher Walker is a media enthusiast, author, and screenwriter. He graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2017 with a B.S. in Communications and currently resides in northern California. In college, he was active in the campus' LGBTQ+ organizations and radio program. Christopher "CDubbz" Walker hosted a nostalgic hour-long radio program known as MAVRadio Rewind, focusing on rock and alternative music from the 1990s and 2000s decades. He sat on the 2018 MBLGTACC Entertainment Subcommittee and was vice president the LGBTQ+ centered student government group G.S.O. in the 2015-2016 Spring semester. In 2017, Christopher Walker wrote a column reflecting on a year's passing since the Orlando Pulse nightclub shooting. That column was eventually picked up and published by the Huffington Post. He continues to publish political columns on Medium.During the COVID-19 pandemic, Chris experimented with Adobe Creative Cloud Services and gained enough knowledge to design a map, drawn on InDesign, to be featured in his hometown's tourism brochure throughout the early-2020s. In late-2021, he finished a 109-page screenplay and entered it into the Reno-Tahoe Screenwriting Contest. It is currently registered with the WGA and hosted on the Blacklist website.Today, Chris continues to write on various topics and on new story projects. He loves music, especially alternative rock of the 1990s, an often 'undervalued period of music history,' he cites. Eventually, he'd like to find the time to learn to play the electric guitar. For now, he'd settle to curate a playlist or host a radio show dedicated to his favorite era.
