Manage two great teams, Telephone Services and Network teams, though we are very lean teams we manage the complete infrastructure and phones for over 6000 users. Responsible for all the network infrastructure to include copper, fiber, switch gear, routing, firewalls, wireless, ISP circuits, VPN, Analog lines, VOIP, PBX, Call Manager, Webex and others. Continually worked to improve the network experience with a very lean staff as well as improve service by moving from traditional PBX to VOIP environment.

Provide all phases of administration of WAN/LAN infrastructure as well as the Cisco Unified Communications systems. Planned, managed and implemented the 2013-2014 phone system migration of 27 independent Nortel PBX systems into a single enterprise Cisco Unified Communications system. Designed and implemented call flows to improve efficiencies for the enterprise while simultaneously improving the customer experience for inbound calls. Planned and Implemented Wan circuit upgrades from Bonded T-1 lines to fiber based Ethernet IPVPN circuits. Planned, managed and implemented the 2013 network upgrade of all switches, routers, and wireless infrastructure for 27 branch campus locations.

Serve as the technical expert for automation equipment within the brigade (SASMO NCOIC). Supervise up to 25 soldiers maintaining electronic communication and/or computer systems. Manage user accounts for 8 sub-systems within the Logistics Information Systems Network. Develop training plans and manage support to meet the required needs of the brigade from an automation systems aspect (i.e...Installation of servers, network management, help desk management, satellite communications, software management, network security, etc…). Ensure Logistics Information Systems meet all DoD, Army, and local policies for security patch installation. Utilized Public Key Infrastructure and Common Access Card technologies to encrypt and digitally sign electronic documents and correspondence to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and non-repudiation
