About Christopher Weakley

Christopher Weakley is a Manager, Application Support at Billtrust at Billtrust. He possess expertise in java, sql, customer service, merchandising, inventory management and 5 more skills. Colleagues describe him as "If you are considering Chris for a role, and do not have time to read anything else, know this: Chris is an excellent technical manager and will increase the output value of the teams he is given direct supervision of. He is knowledgeable, patient, and will help your teams perform at their highest capacity. In the technical world, there is a clear line dividing good and bad managers, and there is yet another line beyond to divide the great from the excellent managers. An excellent manager, in the technical world, shields their team from unproductive noise and elements, enabling their SME’s to focus on what matters. An excellent technical manager leads from behind, advocating for improvements and enabling their team members to achieve more; more than the day-to-day duties, but to improve processes and to change the status quo, to resolve long standing issues and to create new opportunities. Chris is an excellent technical manager. In my time at Billtrust, he demonstrated strong technical skills and a desire to improve the team and department at large. Chris understood our infrastructure and tools, and was capable of resolving problems as much as our engineers. Chris was available for weekly 1 on 1’s, to discuss future improvements and opportunities for growth. He endured countless ideas, provocations and thoughts about how the team may improve, and filtered that noise into something meaningful and constructive. Chris resolved inefficiencies resulting from other teams, regardless of the hour (which is astounding, considering that he was raising kids at home and also coordinated our off-shore teams, resulting in wide working hours). He assisted our team in pivoting when our workloads were high, to prioritize the right tasks, and prepared our teams to fulfill future needs. I can go on, but the point should be clear by now. Have you reached out to Chris yet?"

Listed skills include Java, Sql, Customer Service, Merchandising, and 6 others.
