Lead in-use emissions testing activities in support of regulatory testing requirements for North America and to support internal validation and development testing programs. Support other in-use testing programs such as greenhouse gas production and in-use tractor testing and the CARB Heavy Duty In-Use Compliance (HDIUC) program. Represent PACCAR for all.

In response to a test order from EPA, organize and conduct in-use emissions testing of customer trucks, analyze data, and submit results.Analyze in-use data from PACCAR fleet trucks throughout the development process and communicate results appropriately to ensure future compliance during in-use testing.Other exhaust emissions certification work as time.

Evaluate drivability, stability, cold start, PTO functionality, and emissions control function of the MX engine in-vehicle and report to the appropriate center of expertise. Broadly much of the anomalous engine behavior discovered in-vehicle was assigned to me for further investigation.

Responsible for emissions compliance for snowmobiles and ATV's with EPA, CARB, and foreign requirements. Also responsible for emissions lab supporting both development and compliance as well as providing technical direction to engine development teams. Involved with product planning and briefly managed the NVH group.
