Working as a software developer at Sustainable Solutions in Auckland. Programming, testing, designing pharmaceutical logistics/stock management software for the developing regions of the world. I love seeing the inner workings of processes, virtual or physical. In software there are opportunities every day in any subfield to creatively design solutions to problems of taking inputs and getting outputs - and getting a kick out of doing it as efficiently as possible, while keeping it clear and concise. To that end I'm waiting patiently for the official Vulkan programming guide so that I can get my hands dirty with the latest low level graphical API and take on game projects revolving around that.In the physical world I take an interest in anything mechanical, production lines are always a good documentary subject! In my space I like understanding engines, leading to a lifelong addiction of riding motorcycles. Brewing beer is also a great hobby, exploring fruity and spicy hopped ales and sharing them with family and friends is a true pleasure.Going in hand with motorcycles, I love a good adventure. Trekking, climbing mountains around New Zealand, dirt bikes in the forest, just chilling in the sun/shade... Any opportunity along those lines I'll likely jump on.
