CurrentAs CEO of Impact Society, I lead the organization's vision in developing and implementing transformative social-emotional learning (SEL) programs. My focus is on enhancing youth resilience, mental health, and well-being through our flagship HEROES® program.Key Responsibilities and Achievements:Strategic Leadership: Steered the organization's growth, expanding our reach and deepening our impact in youth resilience and SEL.Program Development and Enhancement: Advanced the HEROES® program, ensuring its evolution based on emerging needs and educational trends. Successfully integrated 32 psycho-social factors into the curriculum, significantly enhancing youth resilience and well-being.Evidence-Based Impact: Championed the use of data and research in program development. Oversaw a longitudinal study confirming a 45% increase in resilience among participants, underpinning our commitment to evidence-based strategies.Collaboration and Partnership: Forged strong alliances with educational institutions, mental health agencies, and community organizations, including Werklund School, Queen's University, and Alberta's Ministry of Mental Health and Addictions.Advocacy for SEL and Resilience: Actively advocated for the importance of SEL in educational curricula and youth development, positioning Impact Society as a leading voice in the field.Organizational Growth: Expanded the HEROES® program, achieving a milestone of positively impacting over 250,000 Canadian youth.
