Christopher P. Ruiz is the firm’s Managing Attorney. He founded the firm in 2008 after practicing 26 years at one of California’s prominent litigation firms. As a partner there, he chaired the firms’ construction industry practice group and successfully represented homeowner associations, general contractors and numerous subcontractors in cases involving single family, high-end residences, multi-unit properties, and commercial buildings.Chris is recognized amongst his peers for his exceptional legal knowledge relating to construction litigation, premises liability and association law, having successfully handled hundreds of complex legal claims He has litigated a wide range of construction claims, from soil expansion, structural failures to all building components of residential properties ranging in scope from architectural design deficiencies to deck failures. As a result of Chris’s routine legal interaction with the industry’s leading neutrals and counsel, he often times can expedite successful resolutions to pending complex claims in a manner beneficial to his clients.
