As a Sales & Management Reporting Analyst I currently manage multiple ongoing projects while carrying out day to day tasks as they are required. Below is an outline of my current responsibilities and achievements at Qtrade.Developed, automated, and maintained the entire sales reporting framework for Qtrade's mutual fund OceanRock Investments using a combination of Excel, Access, Outlook, VBA, Python, and SQL. Working with the sales team and upper management to understand multiple areas of the mutual fund business, I was able to provide a wealth of reliable and accurate information that wasn't previously available. This ultimately allowed the sales team to track their success and identify new potential clients to increase sales for one of the fastest growing mutual funds in Canada.Developed an Access database that receives OceanRock's daily transaction lists from Citibank emails. Using VBA within Access, upon receiving the emails the database automatically unzips the password protected files and stores the information. This information can be easily queried for ad hoc information required by OceanRock's sales team.Created Python programs that move, rename, or delete large batches of files dependent on user inputs. These programs greatly increased the efficiency in Qtrade's Sales and Management Reporting Department as well as nearly eliminating the potential for human error.Developed a risk classification tool that analyzes volatility and debt ratings of a wide variety of Canadian equities. This was done using Bloomberg Terminal and Excel to report a regularly scheduled list of potential investment opportunities for Qtrade's financial advisors.Validating a large number of reports to ensure accuracy prior to distributing them to Qtrade's credit union clients. Validation was done by comparing sales and assets numbers on the reports to those queried from Univeris and Dataphile databases.

Data Mining, Application Development, Report Generation

• Risk assessment and modeling of failure rates for critical Hydro One power equipment assets to mitigate risk of power loss.• Presented research findings to the Canadian Electricity Association’s Consultative Committee on Outage Statistics. • Developed custom Excel functions in VBA and produced metrics for the Performance Management’s corporate reports.

• Analyzed failure and oil spill rates of transformers to prioritization spill containment on the most vulnerable transformers.• Analyzed PCB concentration data in electrical equipment to determine which equipment had the greatest likelihood of having high PBC concentrations.• Used a multitude of Excel functions, pivot tables, and VBA to aggregate data for investment decisions.
