I have been serving as the Director of Communications during the 2022 Australian election campaign for the now Independent MP for Mackellar Dr Sophie Scamps. My role throughout the campaign was to provide strategic communication, stakeholder and policy advice to Dr Scamps as she made history by becoming the first independent to win the federal seat of Mackellar. My role as Communications Director included:• Acting as a strategic advisor to Dr Scamps • Developing, managing and implementing the overarching multi-channel communications strategy for Dr Scamps’ campaign• Acting as the primary point of contact for all media, developing and maintaining relationships with influential national media as well as important local media• Developing and overseeing the implementation of Dr Scamps’ social media strategy• Conducting media training for Dr Scamps • Protecting Dr Scamps’ reputation through 24/7 crisis and issues management• Leading internal communications, including communication with a team of 1200 volunteers• Researching and assisting in the development of policy

I was National Team Head Coach for the Tonga Men's Senior team during the 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers in Samoa in 2011. We finished second in the group with a record of one win, one draw and one loss.Achievements include helping Tonga increase their FIFA World ranking from 202nd to 175th in the world as of December 2011.
