During this time, I led a massive VM migration effort in 2018 using a new VMware tool called Hybrid Cloud Extension (HCX) to migrate mission-critical VM's from a legacy vSphere 5.5 environment to a modern vSphere 6.5 with vSAN solution. This was the first enterprise level use of HCX and it was a massive success.
