Electrical And Instrumentation Technician
Current• Maintain and improve the mechanical equipment to ensure safe, reliable and incident-free operations by troubleshooting, testing and repairing all types of instruments including but not limited to pneumatic, electronic and digital transmitters and controllers, and switches • Repair and tune various types of control valves associated with process instrumentation • Troubleshoot, dismantle, repair and reassemble various equipment to ensure safety, environmental and product quality• Perform bench calibrations, repair and install instruments, and execute integrity checks, accuracy, and functionality of equipment • Install and set pressure, temperature, flow, level switches and monitor devices to ensure a safe and healthy work environment• Provide technical assistance to production and engineering groups on application and modification of new and existing process instrumentation• Troubleshoot equipment failures, analyze conditions and provide recommendations for improvements• Document, maintain and update instrument department records as required to track repairs, specifications and equipment history
