For the systems that I support, I serve as a dynamic and collaborative leader in developing new, and maintaining existing, software systems in an agile environment. I was a Senior Systems Administrator for the USAJOBS 3.0 project with two other systems administrators. I am a part of the Security and Compliance Team, Disaster Recovery Team, Octopus Deployment Team, Akamai Team, On-Call rotation, and Systems Center 2012 R2 Team for USAJOBS. As a systems administrator for USAJOBS I was responsible for the day to day operations and 24x7 support for USAJOBS. I was responsible for the virtual and physical environments that USAJOBS environments run on. I built virtual machines in VMware, server build configurations, server role (Web server, FTP server, Mail server, etc.) and feature configurations (MSMQ, Application Server, etc.) and documentation. I worked with my systems administrator team in server patching utilizing System Center Configuration Manager 2012 R2 and USAJOBS application deployments utilizing Octopus Deploy.

I assist in the design, development and implementation of USAJOBS 3.0 developed in VB.NET 4.0 using SQL Server 2008 r2. I work with vendors(other agencies) through Footprints ticketing system during the UAT testing phase prior to go live in October. I assist in testing, stress testing and load testing of the application as well as 508 compliance testing. I work with a team of developers utilizing TFS 2010 in an agile environment developing in Visual studio 2010 Ultimate. I work between the development and data migration team assisting in both server configuration, application configuration, development, brainstorming sessions, and idea generation following best practices.I work with our security team on FISMA compliance of the software and hardware used for USAJOBS 3.0 and assist in discussions and meetings around some of the decisions in correcting any findings they have.I am a member of the deployment team which requires constant communication with team members, attention to detail, collaboration to resolve problems, and problem solving skills to assist in the long term deployment goals and plans. IP Communications is a VoIP company providing a product range includes Local Origination Services, international local numbers (DDI), domestic/international Toll-Free Service, area based IP T1 (PRI) replacement service, VoIP termination and IP private line services. IP Communications is one of the largest local origination service providers in the world. I ensured that customers could use the Account Management System (AMI) to view and work with their account(s) on-line. I developed and maintained the on-line ordering system and administration portal. IP Communications business management system had been written in Access when the company started 8 years ago. Since then the company out grew Access and I assisted in migrating it to SQL with a web-based interface. I held a position at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA. I worked on the applications team and was responsible for various hospital systems. My main system was the ongoing development of the SQL driven intranet site. The SGMC intranet site was built from the ground up in 04’ and contains roughly 1.5 million lines of code, & just fewer than 50k in documents. I worked as a Programmer/Analyst I for Georgia Farm Bureau in Macon, Ga. My responsibilities included working with a staff of 8 other programmers creating the applications generator that the agents in each county would use to submit prospective applicants into the mainframe through ASP and DLL’s.
