A jack of all trades, that phrase has been used to describe many people that have come out of my department at NCSU. I believe that statement holds true, as a student of the BAE department I have taken about every kind of class that you can expect from an engineering student. From statics to circuits, I have seen them all. My overall goal in life is to be the lead engineer on a design project for a equipment manufacture. As head of my of BAE Senior Design Group project I was responsible for managing the status of year long project. This entails making sure that all the members complete all their parts of the total project, such as complete drawings and then completing the manufacture of all the parts. Also I ensured that all the project deadlines were met. To improve the effectiveness of the project I would assign each member the task best suited for their skill set. I would also work late to help any member who was running behind on their assigned task. Combining all these factors we accomplished our goal of building a crop scanning vehicle. I learned how hard work and good teamwork are the best tools to getting a large project done. I hope I can use these skills to benefit any company's engineering department.I strongly believe that I am strong candidate for any engineering position that requires mechanical design. I am a very hard worker and have plenty of small group leadership experience and I also have very good commutation skills. I also have extensive experience with CERO (PRO-E) 3-D molding software.
