New River Computing is hiring a technician to supplement our team.The Service Technician is responsible for handling first level support of service requests. This relates to all technology, to include: workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software.This position is focused on:IT Support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications and operating systemsSupport of disaster recovery solutionsBasic technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and securityBasic remote access solution implementation and support: VPN, Terminal Services, etc.Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages

• Worked Help Desk Tickets for IT Issues • Answered Calls from employees with Computer issues • Provided Technical Support remotely and on site • Made images from Scratch using Win 7 install disc

• Utilized the database, Legacy, to electronically manage all shipping and receiving• Input Bill of Lading and invoices into the billing system• Input data to create the “Pre” which is equivalent to a shipping label• Recreate bills as necessary when received in poor condition• Input delivery receipts into tracking system• Created manifests for drivers
