Systems Administrator
CurrentThe System Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of servers and network devices within our organization's IT infrastructure. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the seamless operation and performance of IT systems, while also supporting the integrity and availability of critical business data.Key responsibilities include:-System Maintenance & Device Management: Installing, configuring, and managing both physical and virtual servers, network devices (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls), and user accounts.-System Performance & Monitoring: Ensuring high system availability by actively monitoring infrastructure performance and addressing any issues proactively.-Data Integrity & Integration: Maintaining data integrity across departmental systems, and troubleshooting any data integration challenges to ensure consistent and reliable information flow.-Backup & Disaster Recovery: Implementing and managing robust data backup solutions, as well as disaster recovery procedures to guarantee business continuity in case of system failures or data loss.-Collaboration with IT Teams: Working closely with other IT staff to support projects and initiatives, ensuring system compatibility and contributing to strategic technology initiatives.The role demands a proactive approach to system maintenance, strong technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to ensure optimal IT service delivery.
