-Monitor the northern elephant seal (Mirounga angustirostris) population at Piedras Blancas, CA through early biweekly surveys-Marked adult male northern elephant seal for harem studies, and marked pups about to wean for weanling studies- Weigh, restrain, tag flippers, measure axillary girth, standard length, and curvature length of weaned northern elephant seal pups- Train undergraduates on marking, holding flippers for tag application, manual restraint, weighing weanlings using a tripod, and morphometric measurements.
