Investigating the vulnerability of the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary to climate-driven zooplankton changes in the Gulf of Maine.

• Evaluating the welfare impacts on salmon of various lice treatments. This information will be used to establish a set of best practices for the aquaculture industry and Norwegian food safety authority.

• Developed a novel method for enumerating and monitoring salmon lice, a disease and environmental challenge for aquaculture. Trials of the method demonstrated it is more than 20 times faster than typical approaches.• Conducted an investigation into salmon louse fecundity and biology for informing models of infection risk. This information is expected to be used within the traffic light system for managing salmon aquaculture production in Norway.
