Managed a federally funded youth employment and job readiness program in the City of Oakland. Partnered with established community organizations, whose focus was serving youth ages 14 - 24, to ensure a racially equitable environment for the program. Optimized community connections to secure employment training sites throughout the City of Oakland. Nurtured existing relationships with City and County Department representatives, elected officials, religious leaders, business owners, community service providers and Peralta Community College District Counselors and Recruiters. Encouraged program participants to create career goals and enrollment in area colleges increased 100%. Researched additional funding sources to enrich program components.

Managed relationships with Northern California school district administrators, principals and teachers. Established our product as the number one provider of after school math and reading tutoring services. In the face of hiring freezing and company downsizing acted as Program Manager for the Oakland Unified School District's 13 programs while maintaining my responsibilities as Community Development Manager.
