Directs strategic communications team to draft communications and briefing materials across a wide range of priorities and portfolios and conduct various tasks in support of the Department of Energy’s Chief Information Officer and other executive-level leadership; Serves as primary client liaison to effectively manage, delegate, and monitor team’s daily tasks, and ensuring proactivity and closure of action items; Communicates with the interagency, researchers, subject matter experts, National Labs, international partners, and contacts within the executive and legislative branches; Researches, drafts, and edits executive-level communications products on the following subjects: artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, technology innovation, electric grids, information technology (IT), and climate change; Provides executive-level strategic communications support to maintain current and develop new relationships with departmental elements, inter-agency partners, and private and public entities; Provides strategic support for internal and external events, both domestic and international; Produces annual report and other required publications; Communicates effectively with the client, team members, and organizational stakeholders to solve problems and proactively create sustainable solutions to issues

Led the planning, creation, and promotion of agency strategies to elevate the visibility and thought leadership positioning of the National Safety Council’s President and CEO on internal, external and social media channels. Interfaced directly with the NSC executive leadership team to conceptualize and write thought leadership content, executive communications, social media posts, and executive speeches. Created content that engaged with diverse audiences and influencers. Managed the CEO’s reputation and branding.
