CurrentGlendale Union High School District serves the communities of Phoenix and Glendale and encompasses 60 square miles. Comprised of nine high schools, grades 9-12, the urban district enrolls 16,800 students and has approximately 150,000 constituents in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The district's nine schools are ranked among the best high schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report, and all are part of the College Board's 2013 National Advanced Placement District of the Year.
