In my pursuit of a Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Brigham Young University, I conducted groundbreaking research in Refill Friction Stir Spot Welding, achieving a GPA of 3.85/4.00.My thesis involved a comprehensive Production Evaluation of Refill Friction Stir Spot Welding in collaboration with Toyota, utilizing a Digital Twin to create and evaluate over 6000 welds. During this time, I designed and built a Digital Twin of an existing manufacturing cell at Toyota, comparing Resistance Spot Welding with Refill Friction Stir Spot Welding .My role also included directing and supervising an undergraduate research assistant, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. Regular communication with Toyota Engineering North America for project updates and support further strengthened my ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

As a Graduate Research Assistant at BYU Manufacturing Engineering, I continued to contribute to cutting-edge research, focusing on SMART Manufacturing and Industry 4.0.Collaborating with two graduate students, I implemented Adaptive Augmented Reality and Digital Performance Management, showcasing my proficiency in innovative technologies Additionally, I took on the responsibility of designing and writing coursework for BYU's Automation and SMART Manufacturing classes, totaling over 50 pages of instruction.
