In classic FedEx fashion, I left UPS management and started there as a courier. How better to know the new company's reputation and brand. After a couple of leadership positions in operations, I changed my career and joined the sales team. Pretty much a door knocker until a pair of mentors successfully coached me. After multiple years of Field sales recognition awards, I accepted the responsibility as a Worldwide Account Manager. That time was most satisfying when working with those organizations that helped society more than the bottom line. Helping the American Red Cross as they manage the USA's blood supply and respond to global disasters was very challenging but also very gratifying. Our partnership saved lives.
