Responsible for conducting numerous national market research interviews amongst businesses, as well as individuals. This involves both cold and scheduled calling. The nature and content of these surveys and interviews varied hugely which, over my time here, has afforded me with quite an in depth knowledge of frontline market research. As most business interviews need to be conducted with CEOs, GMs, CFOs, business owners, etc., this role involves a large amount of finding best times and methods for contact with these decision making level positions, and scheduling calls to best use this information. The role also has a large sales aspect to it, in terms of selling the survey to the participants. I have consistently met and exceeded target strike rates throughout my time here.
