I currently work for a regional retail brokerage firm and am responsible for all hardware, software, data transfer and programming needs. My programming responsibilities include all data transfer and processing between the firm and our clearing agent, all database management and associated programming for the firm. This includes over 200 databases which are used to generate website content, reports for management, back office personnel and brokers. Customized reports are also generated for Compliance Department on a regular basis.• Programmer, using PHP, Perl and JavaScript.• Write, edit, and maintain company Intranet.• Use Perl to parse raw data from clearing firm into 200 plus MySQL databases.• Write PHP scripts to update MySQL databases.• Write PHP programs to display data information on company Intranet on a web based interface for brokers and back office personnel.• Supply on demand reports using PHP and MySQL for specific back office requests.• Work with Compliance Department to supply data and reports for regulatory audits.• Maintain all company servers; LAMP, Windows and Mac.• Maintain company LAN and WAN.
