Served as Senior Combat Engineer NCO Observer, Coach/Trainer for one of the largest traveling training Brigades in 1st Army Division East. Conducted wartime collective training of the Army National Guard and Reserve Component. Executed high intensity, realistic individual and collective training, gunnery and Army Training and Evaluation Programs (ARTEP). Selected by the Brigade Command Sergeant Major to serve as the Non-Commissioned in Charge for War Exercise (WAREX) and Combat Support Training Exercise (CSTX) which resulted in training for over 1200 Reserve Component Soldiers Assisted in development and certification of five blocks of instruction on mobility, counter-mobility, and survivability as part of Observer Coach/Trainer certification. Sought by peers and superiors as the Subject Matter Expert on Engineer Operations while the organization transitioned from a Calvary Regiment to a Brigade Engineer Battalion. Served as interim Command Sergeant Major for Exportable Combat Training Capability (XCTC) and stabilized CSM responsibilities while presiding over Observer Coach/Trainer duties.
