I presently lead projects applying nonlinear control and reinforcement learning for electric grid cyber security and resiliency/reliability. I develop control techniques for managing Distributed Energy Resources (DER) in electric distribution systems. My current work focuses on model-free optimal control of DER, developing linearized power flow models for use in optimal power flow formulations, and analysis of distribution system behavior using data science techniques.
