Support/Participate in plant vehicle/engine launches. Develop and implement work plans to align supplier and site organization resources to the project timeline. Responsible for strategic supply base development to improve Tenneco's supply base, including on-site supplier development, maintaining and improving procedures and process design, driving quality and productivity improvements at existing suppliers, assessing new potential suppliers, working with new technology and new product launches. Partner with global commodity teams, six sigma black belts, lean leaders, quality and operations managers in each Tenneco SBU and plants. A member of Global Supply Chain Management team. Certified ISO/TS 16949 Supplier Auditor. Certified VDA 6.3 Auditor. International business and travel experience.

Assessment, implementation and maintenance of Quality Systems that meet or exceed TS 16949. Use tools such as 8 Discipline Reports, PFMEA's, Control Plans, Capability Studies and Gage R&R's to understand, meet and communicate quality issues to customers. Interface and communicate with customer SQE's on various issues. Warranty analysis and reporting on failed parts returned from field. Direct employees engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product or process quality and reliability.

Facilitate the development and implementation of significant process improvements by using Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology. Utilize data to make decisions on the quality of the product. Work hand-in-hand with Global Process Excellence Team Six Sigma Master Blackbelt in aiding the Quality Department to ensure timely action to issues regarding customer satisfaction. Assisted Master Blackbelt in implementing corrective actions to close Controlled Shipping II requirements on 8 different failure modes. Work in a supervisor role overseeing operations on multiple shifts when needed to aid the in house customer sort activities to meet shipping requirements. Reduced Controlled Shipping I containment activities by almost 50%, saving over $400,000 annually. Member of Human Resources Peer Review Committee. Completed training and project to become a Certified Six Sigma Greenbelt. Completed three week Six Sigma Greenbelt to Blackbelt training.

In charge of all fabrication facilities and logistics company-wide, including locations in Harrisonburg, VA; Salem, VA; Richmond, VA; and High Point, NC. Manage 20-35 people depending on volume of work per cyclical construction schedules. Manage accounts payable for all production and logistic related expenses including maintenance and repairs. Responsible for production schedule for all locations to ensure fabrication and delivery meet customer needs and demands. Manage just in time inventory levels to guarantee steel is on site for daily fabrication.
