As the first project manager for a coastal home builder, it was my responsibility to use my organization and technical skills to fabricate new processes whose goal was increasing efficiency. My skills in communication and time management were recognized from multiple leads across trades, as I coordinated with subs, vendors and in-house carpenters to intelligently tackle each project in an efficient and budget-conscience way. One major accomplishment was together with the owners we created a ‘bidding matrix’ which streamlined a task, which used to take multiple days to only a few hours and removed a significant area for catastrophic error. Additionally, I’m self-taught in AutoCad, SketchUp and am always looking to learn new skills.

San Mateo

Tasked as with up to 10 projects between $50,000 and $400,000 from single room remodels to additions and whole house renovations. My responsibilities were to gather and deliver information and materials between all members of the remodel. I worked with: clients, subcontractors, designers, suppliers and our own in house crew. My main duties include but were not limited to: scheduling, coordinating materials and personnel over multiple projects, becoming intimately involved and memorizing locations and specifications for all materials at all jobsites. Additional responsibilities included insuring materials for projects were ordered and on site at the designated stages. To do so familiarity with PO and invoices were key. Receiving, review and discussing subcontractor invoices and change orders to insure they match the quoted bid and arrive at budget.

Training new employees and therapists. Assisting the spa director with payroll. Resolving any unhappy clients. Greeting and Directing clients to their services. Booking appointments and dealing with sensitive materials such as credit card numbers.

Office work including maintaining the copiers and the office supply closet, filing creating documents, IT work with the realtors. Directing the clients to their respective realtors. Dealing with sensitive information escrow payments and commission checks and others.

Respected as the most tenured keyholder and lead training and our work day when the manager was not in. Assisting customers find their preferred products or selling them a new favorite. Keeping track of inventory and basic food, health and safety training.
