Hello,I study the human condition – that is probably the simplest way to describe what I do, what I have done in the past, and what I plan to do in the future. I have a BA in Philosophy-Psychology from the State University of New York at Oswego. I plan on continuing my career with graduate work in the future. Although I would like to spend most of my time asking good research questions, and pondering academic work, real life, plus economic constraints do get in the way.My main areas of interest include various aspects of human behavior, mainly related to social cognition and evolutionary psychology, as well as some domains of philosophy, such as work regarding "The True Self" in experimental philosophy. Some interests include aggression, altruism, antisocial behavior, prosocial behavior, motivation, intelligence, hierarchy, cooperation, social motivations, human mating strategies, and reactions to sensory stimuli. Beyond this, I also have general interests in evolutionary explanations for human behavior, as well as free-will and how it relates to public policy. Putting it simply, I enjoy studying human behavior at its best and worst.
