Over this past summer, I worked as an intern for Bowman Creek Educational Ecosystem, an community outreach organization formed through the Center of Civic Innovation at the University of Notre Dame. During this internship, I collaborated with a diverse network of people- city engineers, high school and college students/teachers, and residents- to install a local weather station and beautify a creek site. Doing so improved the educational resources of local high school as well as the biodiversity of the South Bend area.In school, I'm taking courses in the technical field, such as Data Structures and Logic Design, to prepare for a successful career in the tech industry. At the moment, my professional goal is to work in different aspects of the computer industry to get a solid sense of what a career for me could look like. After completing my first internship, I can see myself in a position where I use computer science concepts to resolve others' issues, something like consulting.
