*Support all laboratory testing by providing timely service maintaining, calibrating, troubleshooting, and replacing a wide variety of testing instrumentation used in psychrometric, furnace, sound, vibration, motor, and airflow testing at Carrier's only research and development laboratory for residential and light commercial HVAC products.*Support innovation in product develop testing procedures by providing knowledge and expertise in instrumentation and controls needed to automate processes and procedures.*Assist in a variety capital development projects by selecting the appropriate instrumentation needed for proper accuracy and uncertainty specifications with budgets ranging from a few thousand up to and beyond a million dollars.*Ensure data acquisition and documentation is in compliance with ISO 17025, CSA, UL, ASHRAE, and AHRI standards and support agency audits for product certifications.*Develop, build, and maintain field trial data acquisition systems used to test new products and prototype designs deployed in the field.*Act as a systems administrator for the new Gantner data acquisition system used to preform sound and vibration testing in the psychrometric test cells*Update and revise all standard operating procedures for the instrumentation department.

* Ensure the functionality of production equipment via preventative and corrective maintenance at a 900,000+ square foot pharmaceutical facility.* Perform Calibration/Verification/Troubleshooting of instrumentation including devices using Analog, Foundation Field-bus, and Heart communication technology. * Maintain proper records and documentation in accordance with CGMP regulations.* Monitor processes remotely using BMS and SCADA systems (Siemens/Delta-V/Factory Talk).* Provide prompt service troubleshooting issues in the event of equipment malfunctions.* Work safely and effectively with a team or individually following OSHA guidelines.* Maintain up to date training on all SOPs and safety procedures.* Assist engineers commissioning new and existing equipment to building monitoring systems.
