Daily scope included but was not limited to performing VT, MT, PT, UT and RT examinations. Radiography operations included more extensive preparation and dedication to complete with success. During my tenure I was placed in a leadership position as shift supervisor overseeing site operations of 30+ technicians.
Level Ii Nde Technician
Resident Inspector at Roche Pharmaceuticals which is now known as Thermo-Fisher Scientific in Florence, SC. The scope was to establish and maintain a stable mechanical integrity program of baseline and periodic inspections of fabricated and pre-existing on site equipment such as glass lined pressure vessels, coated and non-coated pressure vessels, above and below ground storage tanks, concrete foundations, pressure relief valves, heat exchangers and also associated piping and equipment. Working daily with site personnel for scheduling of inspections to correlate with the systems run/down time. Daily interaction with engineering personnel for isometric, P&ID's and equipment design drawings for accurate examinations and documentation. During this time I received all of the necessary training needed for the regulation requirements that were implemented per the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). In 2015, I was then requested for a separate project and I was then transferred to BP Chemical in Wando, SC at the Cooper River site which is outside of Charleston, SC. My responsibilities were very similar to the responsibilities I previously held at Roche Pharmaceuticals. I was able to make the transition very smoothly with minimal time/ work loss. Being the only on site inspector at the time, I was capable to interact with the customer and on site personnel daily. Coordinating with daily operations was key to the success of the project. I was the main point of contact and coordinator during seasonal outages to complete a wide variety of inspections in various methods.
