I am third-year Finance and Real Estate major in the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, and a member of the Commercial Real Estate Workshop.This past summer, I had the opportunity to do an internship with Core-Rx Communications, a small pharmaceutical advertising agency outside of Chicago. Throughout my time there, I had the chance to experience all sides of the company from client relations and project management side to the billing and financial side. Working with all branches of the company allowed me to see a project progress through its stages from ideation and planning to completion and invoicing. This was instrumental in helping me figure out my passions in the business world- client relations and financial management. My finance role also allowed me to be involved with finding a new office building for the firm. I was directly involved with finding properties, touring the sites, and conducting financial underwriting.I have always valued relationships. I grew up being very involved with sports, as a two-sport athlete throughout high school, which taught me to realize and appreciate the benefits of teamwork. This background has helped me to succeed in group work in my academic and professional life as well. During my experience as an intern, I had the opportunity to attend photoshoots and meeting with clients and saw first-hand the importance of maintaining good relationships with clients. I believe that my background will allow me to succeed in client relations.
