- Serve as a first escalation point for NOC team for troubleshooting network outages and issues.- Make changes to branch to branch VPN tunnels on Cisco 5540 ASA as new devices are added or decommissioned devices are removed. Also assist with building new tunnels as needed.- Support of 8 hospitals throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana for all operational networking needs.- Support and creation of new monitoring pollers, views, and reports within Solarwinds Orion platform.- Deploy and support of over 200 remote sites using technologies such as MPLS, Metro Etherenet, and Ubiquiti AirFiber.- Support in aquisition of new hospitals by working with senior staff to identify and change existing IP address space to allign with our production network- Deployment and support of Cisco 3850/3650 series stacked switches- Deployment and support of Cisco 2911/4331 ISRs for remote sites- Deployment and support of APC Smart-UPS for providing uninteruptible power to equipment.- Make changes to security rules on internet facing Palo Alto Security Appliance.- Coordinate with Windstream Techs for make ready at remote sites to deploy new MPLS circuits.- Configure and troubleshoot BGP and OSPF configurations for deployment at remote sites.- Create and update documentation for any additions or changes made to network including sharepoint lists, visio drawings, adding to monitoring platforms, and inventory- Design and configure Geist Watchdogs for temperature, humidity, and dew point monitoring of all server rooms and data closets.- Train new employees and act as support for new employees performing the tasks of previous role at CBTS.

Contracted with CBTS for Baptist Health client.- Process all tickets and answered phones for network requests either performing configuration changes requested, troubleshooting connectivity issues, or escalating to the proper engineer.- Monitor the status of network equipment using solarwinds and assist other engineers with troubleshooting network outages.- Assist field staff with changes needed for IT projects such as re-IP of printers, workstations, or servers.- Perform DNS and DHCP reservation changes in Infoblox software.- Open tickets with carrier in the event of a network outage.- Perform switchport access VLAN changes and enabling ports to accomodate infrastructure changes.- Run reports in Splunk and Solarwinds and create tickets for UPS battery failures, uplink port flaps, duplex mismatches, and switch/router power supply issues.- Assist field engineers with creating Cisco TAC cases.- Created and maintained compliance report to assist LAN Refresh team with catching configuration discrepancies during deployment and remediation of post deployment configuration changes.- Assist Unified Communications with Avaya to Cisco phone conversion.- Assist with processing incoming network inventory by scanning received inventory into sharepoint inventory list.- Pull cables to users work areas from switch cloest and terminate at the wall and patch panel. Patch the cable from patch panel to the switch stack.

-Use of multiple monitoring tools to simultaneously support nine clients server and network environments.-Open trouble tickets with client’s ISP for various issues regarding link status. Communicate ISP updates and resolution with all parties to ensure accurate and prompt resolution.-Perform monitoring tools alert suppression for any client patching, maintenance, or emergency reboots to ensure no unnecessary tickets are generated during the outage.-Verify any active monitoring alerts to determine the validity and actionability with the use of many tools such as remote desktop protocol, cisco IOS show commands, unix SNMP walk, and simple network diagnostic tools such as ping and traceroute.-Create internal trouble tickets for server and network issues discovered by either active SNMP alerts/traps and client call ins.-Use means available to L1 to attempt to remediate issues. Log any pertinent device logs or alert details, remediation steps taken, and communications in the work log of the ticket.-Escalate tickets that can not be resolved to proper L2 teams based on alert and device type while communicating to the client and L2 team the status of the incident and remediation steps taken.-Update and maintain documentation relating to NOC clients policies and procedures.-Work with a shift partner to ensure swift response to major outages/incidents and notify major incident coordinators so proper communication channels such as bridge calls can be initiated.-Achieve proper response, referral and resolve times for incidents based on ticket priority and client service level agreements.
