Fleet Asset Analyst
CurrentResponsible for life cycle logistics management of all parts and components for nuclear power plants and supporting systems. These responsibilities include projecting demand for components and parts through establishing shipboard configuration and stocking requirements, monitoring usage, and factoring on ship construction/refit/decommissioning plans. In matching assets to needs, cognizance of all aspects in logistics control is required, including: material planning, supply management, inventory control and storage, transportation, support in service, and disposal authorization. Extensive use and support of the Enterprise Business System, interaction with fleet, Government, and BPMI equipment cognizant personnel, and the development of solutions to complex logistics problems and issues involving formal oral and written communications as required. Maintaining and improving logistics processes while developing solutions to logistical issues with professional and independent judgement.
