• Developed curriculum to teach students fundamentals of designing for additive manufacturing and the differences of various types of additive manufacturing processes.• Helped bring in speakers from aerospace and additive manufacturing industries (ex. This startup focuses on designing a modular, sustainable refugee shelter for displaced peoples in the Middle East in collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).• Developed 3D CAD models and technical drawings for the construction of our unique hexagonal shelter design for the UNHCR.• Mentored an intern for two months to learn 3D modeling and additive manufacturing to create scale-models of shelter design for presentation to stakeholders.• Sponsored 2 teams of 4 senior Mechanical Engineering students at Stanford to design and prototype next iteration of the shelter for their 6-month senior capstone project in 2021.
