I interned with the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) on-site during the spring semester of 2024. As a spring intern in the Office of the President Robert Doar, I supported institutional and scholar focused research on public policy.

Accepted into the STIA Major Honors Program (4 of 147 in major) and successfully completed a senior thesis entitled “The Environmental Security Dynamics of US-PRC Competition for Critical Mineral Resources.” This research was supervised by Prof. Rajesh Veeraraghavan and Dr. Marcus DuBois King.

The Cato Institute is a public policy research organization with an internship program that offers research experience and mentorship by actively published scholars. As a Spring Intern, I supported Director of Tax Policy Studies Adam Michel, who focuses on the economic and budgetary effects of taxation in the United States.

As a student academic assistant, I supported Professor Janet Gao with research and data collection for the Journal of Financial Economics (Vol. 150, 2023) article “Partisanship in Loan Pricing.” This was a collaborative article with Prof. Pengfei Ma (Singapore Management University) and Prof. Ramona Dagostino (University of Rochester).
