I have been PTA for over seven years in an outpatient setting, and although specialized studying has optimized my performance with specialty courses and CEUs, I’ve reached the ceiling as a PTA and I am prepared to take the next step: DPT.I will enjoy greater responsibility and capacity to provide good and impactful care to the best of my abilities. I learn much from my patients every day, and I am passionate about their success in therapy so they can return to work as a firefighter, a nurse, or are just able to walk independently without a cane. I also have my own personal training business, in which I can further educate and develop plans for healthy lifestyles for my clients, both mentally and physically. I enjoy my job immensely and have the rare opportunity of looking forward to my workday. I know I will love learning and developing deeper knowledge and skills in the DPT program, allowing me to provide the best and most impactful care I can to my patients.
